rerumput..
Cara menanam rumput seperti berikut

my next so-called runaway project..
Alhamdulilah...almost 3 X weekends plus patience and am about 70% done with my yard's project..target to settle it before Ramadhan cos am not gonna spend too much energy during that holy month :)... yesterday, on my way back from office i bought carpet grass seeds from the nursery.. its cost me about RM15.50 per pack for 100gm...so my new weekend starts tomorrow and my whole day is belong to this project...am gonna spread over the seeds...and as per nursery's owner it would take 10 to 14 days for them to start sprouting and water must be twice a day during that tenure....and am definitely couldn't wait for that...there are 2 type of grass seeds available (according to the owner) ..carpet grass and bermuda grass...which carpet grass is more commonly used for ordinary house garden and simple grass landscapes around the compound of a fairly medium sized home where as bermuda grass is commonly used on golf courses today as it grows well in very warm weather. so my best choice is carpet grass...
the pack!
elaboration of the pack..bla..bla..
mcm beras pun ada..but super smaller..
soon...will transform into the greenery..
nurturing plants
a) Watering:
Water according to the needs of the plant, not according to the calendar. (Some plants do not need frequent watering such as the cacti and succulent variety)
- Feel the soil to see how dry it is,you can’t tell by looking.
- Don’t pour water directly onto leaves unless you know it doesn’t bother the plants.
- Brown leaves and wilted leaves mean you need more water.Yellow leaves on bottom mean you are watering too much.
- If you are not sure whether it’s time to water, wait a day or two.Less is definitely better than more.

b) Light /Sun:
- Flowering plants need light /sun to make flower buds.
- If light conditions are very poor, the plant will die;if they are marginal, the plant will hang on but not thrive.
- Do note that not all plants require a lot of sunlight, many indoor plants require at least a quarter of sunlight to thrive.

c) Humidity:
- Spray a fine mist of water on and around the plant.
- Brown leaf tips are usually a sign that the humidity is too low.
- Plants that need very high levels of humidity will benefit if kept in the bathroom or sprayed regularly.

d) Fertilizing:
- Best to feed the plants every two weeks with the correct type of fertilizer.
- Fertilizer is not medicine. If your plant is doing poorly because of bad light or a disease, fertilizing will only make matters worse. First fix the basic problem.

a b and c about home garden planning...must plan ya..
How successful we are with plants is largely a matter of choosing the right ones in the first place. You need to think carefully about your lifestyle, schedule and personality, for example how much time and effort are you willing to devote to caring for your plants. The trick is to choose plants either indoor or outdoor variety that match the home environment you already have.
Choosing plants or creating a garden definitely involves a balancing act between aesthetics and practicality.
Some of the key questions to ask yourself before really investing in plants or a garden:-
a) Evaluate your house:
- What room do you plan to put the plant in?
- How hot is that particular space either a room or courtyard area during the day?
- How big is the space and do you know how big the plant eventually gets?
b) Evaluate your décor:
- What is the overall decoration style/theme of the room or outdoor space?
- Is there an architectural element in the room/outdoor space you want to disguise? (You can do that with a large plant).
- Is there something in the room/outdoor space you want to highlight, such as an interesting piece of furniture or artwork?(You can do that with a plant strategically positioned nearby).

c) Evaluate yourself:
- What kind of parent to a plant do you have the time or inclination to be?
- Are you out of town often or forgetful by nature?
- Do you have a complicated daily routine that doesn’t really allow much time for hobbies?
- Have you maintained interest in hobbies for a long time, or do you tend to lose interest quickly?
If you analyze the above questions honestly, you should have a sense of how ‘plant or garden dedicated’ you can realistically be.
