rerumput..
Cara menanam rumput seperti berikut

my next so-called runaway project..
Alhamdulilah...almost 3 X weekends plus patience and am about 70% done with my yard's project..target to settle it before Ramadhan cos am not gonna spend too much energy during that holy month :)... yesterday, on my way back from office i bought carpet grass seeds from the nursery.. its cost me about RM15.50 per pack for 100gm...so my new weekend starts tomorrow and my whole day is belong to this project...am gonna spread over the seeds...and as per nursery's owner it would take 10 to 14 days for them to start sprouting and water must be twice a day during that tenure....and am definitely couldn't wait for that...there are 2 type of grass seeds available (according to the owner) ..carpet grass and bermuda grass...which carpet grass is more commonly used for ordinary house garden and simple grass landscapes around the compound of a fairly medium sized home where as bermuda grass is commonly used on golf courses today as it grows well in very warm weather. so my best choice is carpet grass...
the pack!
elaboration of the pack..bla..bla..
mcm beras pun ada..but super smaller..
soon...will transform into the greenery..
nurturing plants
a) Watering:
Water according to the needs of the plant, not according to the calendar. (Some plants do not need frequent watering such as the cacti and succulent variety)
- Feel the soil to see how dry it is,you can’t tell by looking.
- Don’t pour water directly onto leaves unless you know it doesn’t bother the plants.
- Brown leaves and wilted leaves mean you need more water.Yellow leaves on bottom mean you are watering too much.
- If you are not sure whether it’s time to water, wait a day or two.Less is definitely better than more.

b) Light /Sun:
- Flowering plants need light /sun to make flower buds.
- If light conditions are very poor, the plant will die;if they are marginal, the plant will hang on but not thrive.
- Do note that not all plants require a lot of sunlight, many indoor plants require at least a quarter of sunlight to thrive.

c) Humidity:
- Spray a fine mist of water on and around the plant.
- Brown leaf tips are usually a sign that the humidity is too low.
- Plants that need very high levels of humidity will benefit if kept in the bathroom or sprayed regularly.

d) Fertilizing:
- Best to feed the plants every two weeks with the correct type of fertilizer.
- Fertilizer is not medicine. If your plant is doing poorly because of bad light or a disease, fertilizing will only make matters worse. First fix the basic problem.

a b and c about home garden planning...must plan ya..
How successful we are with plants is largely a matter of choosing the right ones in the first place. You need to think carefully about your lifestyle, schedule and personality, for example how much time and effort are you willing to devote to caring for your plants. The trick is to choose plants either indoor or outdoor variety that match the home environment you already have.
Choosing plants or creating a garden definitely involves a balancing act between aesthetics and practicality.
Some of the key questions to ask yourself before really investing in plants or a garden:-
a) Evaluate your house:
- What room do you plan to put the plant in?
- How hot is that particular space either a room or courtyard area during the day?
- How big is the space and do you know how big the plant eventually gets?
b) Evaluate your décor:
- What is the overall decoration style/theme of the room or outdoor space?
- Is there an architectural element in the room/outdoor space you want to disguise? (You can do that with a large plant).
- Is there something in the room/outdoor space you want to highlight, such as an interesting piece of furniture or artwork?(You can do that with a plant strategically positioned nearby).

c) Evaluate yourself:
- What kind of parent to a plant do you have the time or inclination to be?
- Are you out of town often or forgetful by nature?
- Do you have a complicated daily routine that doesn’t really allow much time for hobbies?
- Have you maintained interest in hobbies for a long time, or do you tend to lose interest quickly?
If you analyze the above questions honestly, you should have a sense of how ‘plant or garden dedicated’ you can realistically be.
contributed to a friendly environment..
pagi tadi...suasana basah n sejuk...and am felt lazy to go to work...while waiting wifey brought the breakfast at our porch...i rasa sesuatu keluar and terbang aiming to my house entrance...its a bird!!!...what a surprise there is a nest inside the bamboo right in front of my door and am just noticed it this morning... hahaha.. coincidentally i think the bird felt the same way.. lazy to fly away out this morning...maybe because of the nice weather...apa lagi... its an opportunity for me to snap the pictures of them...i felt so touch..that little creatures are actually getting some benefit from my efforts...told my eldest daughter about it and we decided not to disturb them...let them be our new neighbor... :P

Garden in the making.
phew....finally dh dpt buat pagar so..kira tanah lot umah dah ada sempadan and people can't easily park the cars inside my territory...bila dah buat pagar rasa pulak nak wat mini walkaway field...tapi am not going to spend very much on this...luckily my old schoolmate help me..dia tukang rumah so we brainstorm the idea...i come out with the idea buat petak2 simen and susun macam dam aji...part yang ada tanah tu suggest nak tanam rumput carpet...wahh..how nice it is...
my fren agreed to help me with the petak simen at very minimal cost..dia buat mold guna lebihan plywood masa buat rumah dulu...dpt la 8 biji mold.. but proud to say that except the petak simen, from ratakan tanah sampai susun2 petak simen tu i did by my self on weekends...hahaha just try and error...seriously it save me a lot...kalau hirer professional landscaper i think it would charge me thousand of ringgit... :) ..for that Ngehhhh...
this how its look like...sapa nak main dam aji..angkat tangan...
tapi gimme so more weekend untuk siapkan dulu ya...
its not easy yo...kalu senget ...bab nak samakan balik is damn tedious...some more its so heavy...
but ...hehe imagine tanah color brown tu when its turn to green, bila tanam rumput carpet nanti...
snap..snap..
bunga loceng - purple...kalau kuning common one..
yg tinggi tu pokok cherry...hehe tgh tunggu hasil...
x tau nama aper..tapi daun dia keras n lambat kuning...
kiambang dah monopoly tempayan!!
lotus!...yeay...
4 types of diff keladi..manja n x leh direct sunlight...
orkid...dah berbunga!
aku x berapa suka sangat orkid...1 sebab susah nak jaga...tapi kebetulan ada satu pokok orkid liar yang dikasi oleh member bila dia dah x nak...so aku adopt la orkid tu..spesis aper dun ask me k...aku main letak kat kwsan teduh bersama pokok gantungan yang lain...alih2 satu hari guess what...its start produce flowers...not bad!! hehe..(ke lepas ni nak wat koleksi okid pulak..??)
tgk bunga dia...not bad!!
without baja pon its grew healthily
ralat: mop tu bukan sejenis tumbuhan yer..
bamboo...the blocker
once upon a time aku takut bila tengok pokok buluh... orang tua-tua selalu omokan ada hantu kat pokok buluh..haha its a myth...hantu kat mana2 pon buleh duduk...after sometimes aku mula suka ngan spesis nih...tambahan pulak ada function untuk blok rumah aku yang berdinding kaca...so daripada biarkan ruang privasi menonton keluarga open to public aku utilize penggunaan pokok bamboo ni sebagai blocker....
sireh junjung...

jumm tgk pokok sireh pemberian benih from my beloved mum in law few months ago....
its growing rapidly and healthily ...
